Special Olympics
“Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
I am very much looking forward to coaching my students to participate in our school's Special Olympics program.
“Special Olympics Delaware changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance, and Inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities. It builds sports teams, confidence, strength, motivation and self-esteem for
everyone involved.”
This year we plan to participate in both the soccer and basketball skills events.
Basketball Skills: Friday, November 14, 2014
Held at William Penn High School, 10:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
Soccer Skills: May 2015
Held at Concord High School, 10:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
A permission form was sent home to be completed and returned in order for your child to be able to participate.
